WITCHES WOODS TAX DISTRICT TAX COLLECTOR’S NOTICE
The first installment of Real Estate bills listed on the October 1, 2022 Grand List become due and payable to the Witches Woods Tax District on July 1, 2023.
Payments must be postmarked by August 1, 2023 to avoid interest charges. Interest will be charged on August 2, 2023 on all delinquent bills at a rate of one and one-half percent per month,
beginning with 6 % for July 1st through July 31st, and ending with 18% interest for all payments made in June 2023.
There is a minimum interest charge of $2.00 on each bill.

Bills are sent only once a year, in June. No additional bills are sent in January for the second installment.
Bills come in three parts.; return the top part (Part A) with the July payment and the second part (Part B) with the January payment. Keep the bottom part (Part C) for your records.
Witches Woods Tax District does not levy a property tax on Motor Vehicles.
The Witches Woods Tax District real property tax bill is in addition to the tax bill from the Town of Woodstock.
The Witches Woods Tax District does not value, assess or handle exemptions to the tax bill. This process is made only by the Town Assessor. If you have any questions regarding the assessed valuation or exemptions, contact the Town of Woodstock Assessor’s Office at 860 928 – 6929 ext. 327 or email
