Witches Woods Tax District 
Board of Directors and Flood and Erosion Control Board Meeting
December 17th 2009
 
Members present:   Eric Werstler, Margaret Houlihan, Cliff Moon, Ken Braithwaite, Tom Pandolfi, Karen Marshall and Rande Chmura.  Others present: Fred Chmura Absent: Glen Humes, Ron Zavarella  

Clerks Report:
A motion was made by Tom Pandolfi and seconded by Ken Braithwaite to accept the minutes from the November 12th meeting.  The motion was approved unanimously.

Roads:
Tom Pandolfi reported that the Crooked Trail drainage project has not been started.  Discussion with two homeowners about cutting their driveway has not been done.  Tom and Ken placed hay bales in front of two culverts to help prevent them from clogging.

Lake, Dam and Beach: 
Eric Werstler reported that the lake draw down was successful.  He will monitor the lake level this winter.
The board agreed to hire someone to clean up and remove debris from the Hutteng's beach lot.
Eric proposed the following projects:
"	Grading the dam near the spillway to facilitate mowing.  $450 estimate
"	Remove trees and grade seed and mulch on Bungee Dam.  $2250 estimate
"	Dam improvements at Koviciny Beach including 20 loads of rock and boulders and 20 loads of fill.  $6480 estimate
A motion was made by Eric Werstler and seconded by Tom Pandolfi to grading the dam near the spillway, Remove trees and grade seed and mulch on Bungee Dam and make Dam improvements at Koviciny Beach for a cost not to exceed $9180. The motion was approved unanimously

Zoning:
Margaret Houlihan reported that a permit for a new roof was issued by the town for 34 Indian Spring Road.

Appeals:
Karen Marshall reported there were no appeals. 

Health, fire and safety:
No report.

Treasurer's Report:
Rande Chmura reviewed the monthly financial report.
