Witches Woods Tax District Board of Directors and Flood and Erosion Control Board Meeting July 14th, 2009

Members present: Cliff Moon, Margaret Houlihan, Ken Braithwaite, Tom Pandolfi, and Rande Chmura. Others present: Fred Chmura Absent; Glen Humes, Eric Werstler, Ron Zavarella and Karen Marshall

Clerks Report: A motion was made by Tom Pandolfi and seconded by Rande Chmura to accept the minutes from the May 6th meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.

Zoning: Margaret Houlihan reported that no permits have been issued by the town.

Roads: Tom Pandolfi reported that he received a bid for the 2 remaining culverts on Crooked Trail. John Albrecht's bid is $16,400. Two driveways that extend into the road will be cut. Water is coming off the driveways and causing erosion problems with the road. Additional bids will be sought. Affected homeowners will be advised of the project details before construction begins.

Lake, Dam and Beach: Lake weed treatment will be done by Aquatic Control on July 20th. The abandoned car on the Bungee Dam has been removed.

Health, fire and safety: No report

Treasurer's Report: Rande Chmura reviewed the monthly financial report. The final dam contraction bill has been paid to Madden Construction. A bill from the engineer is expected for the 'As Built' survey Tax collection is slower than normal this year.
