Witches Woods Tax District Board of Directors and Flood and Erosion Control Board Meeting January 27th 2010

Members present: Eric Werstler, Margaret Houlihan, Cliff Moon, Tom Pandolfi, Karen Marshall and Rande Chmura. Absent: Ken Braithwaite, Glen Humes, Ron Zavarella

Clerks Report: A motion was made by Tom Pandolfi and seconded by Karen Marshall to accept the minutes from the December 17th meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.

Roads: Tom Pandolfi reported he has asked John Albrecht to do emergency repairs on Olde Stone Road. The Crooked Trail drainage project is on hold until two residents who will have their driveways modified are consulted. Water coming down these driveways is eroding the road. Rip-Rap will be placed at the base of the driveways to help prevent erosion. The driveways will be cut to accomplish this. A letter will be sent to the two residents.

Lake, Dam and Beach: Eric Werstler reported that he contacted Woodstock's building inspector and Janet Blanchette about the dam and maintenance project. No permits are required to do the maintenance. The project will be done in the spring.

A motion was made by Eric Werstler and seconded by Tom Pandolfi to accept Aquadic Control's proposal to do water treatments as needed. The motion was approved.

Water quality testing kits will be ordered.

Zoning: Margaret Houlihan reported that a no new permits have been issued by the town.

Appeals: Karen Marshall reported there were no appeals.

Health, fire and safety: No covenants or rules prohibit snow mobiles on the lake. Ice fishing is prohibited by the covenants.

Treasurer's Report: Rande Chmura reviewed the December 31st financial report.
