Witches Woods Tax District
Board of Directors and Flood and Erosion Control Board Meeting
December 3rd, 2008

Members present: Eric Werstler, Rande Chmura, Cliff Moon, Margaret Houlihan, Tom Pandolfi and Karen Marshall. Others present: Fred Chmura, Absent - Glen Humes, Ken Braithwaite and Ron Zavarella

Clerks Report:
A motion was made by Karen Marshall and seconded by Eric Werstler to accept the minutes from the November 5th meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.

Roads:
Tom Pandolfi reported that Josh Butts completed the tree and brush trimming.
John Albrecht has filled pot holes and done road maintenance including placing crushed stone at culverts on Crooked Trail. .
A call was received about ice on the roads. Due to rising temperatures, no sanding was done.
Drainage pipes will be flushed in the spring. A bill for the fall culvert cleaning has not been received.
The low level outlet construction area will be monitored for road conditions.

Outflow Replacement:
Eric Werstler reported Mattern Construction has begun the low level outlet replacement project. Vegetation has been cleared from the entire dam. Civil Engineer Janet Blanchet is monitoring the project.
The contract has been signed by Glen Humes.
Additional dam vegetation clearing was done for $1836. The money for this came from the Lake, Dam and Beach budget.

Lake, Dam and Beach:
Two dead trees were removed from Huteng's beach by Josh Butts at a cost of $600.

Health, fire and safety:
The speed bumps have been removed for winter.

Zoning:
Margaret Houlihan had no activity to report.

Treasurer's Report:
The outflow replacement $200,000 loan closing has been completed.
Rande Chmura presented the financial report to the board.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made, seconded and carried, unanimously.
